UPDATE: Saturday, December 10, 2011 @ 4:30PM - 32 Players with 6 Reseats vied for $7,300 in prize pool. At this time there are 14 Players left. Prizes are $3,000, $1,400, $1,100, $900, $500 & $300. When they reached 7 players, the did the following chop. Each agreed to take $700 and play for the remaining $2,300. Jesse T, Brian U and Chad G took $700. When they reached four players, played ended with the following chop. Marty F took $1,500, Rick N., Steve P and Jack W each took $1,200. Play concluded at 7:30PM. The FORTH and FINAL in a series of 4 Progressive Charity Poker Tournaments at the Girdletree Firehouse will take place this Saturday, December 10th starting at 10AM. The event is a SUPER DEEP Stacks and the buyin is $300 and is a (1) one re-seat/re-entry event with no re-buys or addons. The last three events were held September 10th, October 8th, November 19th and were $3,000, $4,000 and $5,000 guaranteed prize pools. UPDATED: 7PM, 2 - $35 Qualifying SNGs and 33 Players have entered Girdletree's $5,000 Guarantee at the Girdletree Firehouse. The prizes were, $2,000, $1,200, $900, $600 & $300. After the Bubble, who was Carolina Steve S., got $120, the final five chopped. 1st Place went to Lil Guy E, who had a little over two-thirds of the $1.3 Million chips in play and took $2,000 the other four chopped the remaining for $750 each. They were Bill I, Pat L, Steve P and Brian U. The third in a series of 4 Progressive Charity Poker Tournaments at the Girdletree Firehouse and take place this Saturday, November 19th starting at 11AM. The Buyin is $150 and is a (1) one re-seat/re-entry event with no re-buys. There will be an optional $25 addon at the end of the 4th level and players will receive $20,000 in chips for the addon The last two events, held September 10th and October 8th were $3,000 and $4,000 guaranteed prize pools. The last event to be held Saturday, December 10th will be a $7,500 Guarantee.

Update: Saturday, October 29th, @ 9PM. 49 Players entered this tournament. With the entries and the 41 addons, over $4,700 was in the prize pool. Play started prompted at 12 Noon and concluded at 7:25PM. The blinds were at $10,000/20,000 with a $3,000 ante. They paid 5 places plus pitched in $120 for the bubble. The places were setup to be paid at $2,180, $1,260, $950, $190 and $160. After play reached 4, they agreed to a chop of $1,145 each. The winners were Pat L, Guy E. Sr., Trudy D., Big Jim B. Jodi W was 5th and Guy Jr was the bubble. This Saturday, October 29th, the Cambridge area Bi-monthly Charity Poker Tournament moves to the Cambridge Elks. It will be a $125 buyin. The tournament will feature $20,000 in tournament chips and 30 minute blinds. No Rebuys or Addons, but reseats for the first 4 levels. $90 of the $125 goes towards the prize. The tournament will benefit a Dorchester County Volunteer Fire Company. Doors open at 9AM with $30 SNG's with 1st and 2nd winning their buyin. The tournament begins promptly at 12 Noon. Jeff Mc. will be the Tournament Director.

UPDATE: October 8, 2011 @ 9PM - 43 Players entered today's Girdletree Tournament. Cards were in the air at 11:20 and the last hand dealt at 7:10PM. After the final five agree to take $200 out of the prize pool for the bubble, and the bubble reached, the final four played a few hands before a chop. Frank F. got $1,425 and had 2/3 of the chips. Jeff R. and Pat L. each took $900 and Ray T. took $575. Qualifying SNG's are underway for today's Girdletree $4,000 Guarantee Charity Poker Tournament. The Buy in is $125 with a 5th level optional $25 addon. They are paying a minimum of 4 places, $1,800, $1,000, $700 & $500. Players get $20,000 in chips and $15,000 in addon chips.
