The Holiday Season is once again upon us.  Everyone at Delmarva Charity Poker hopes you have a Safe and Happy Holiday.  The Charity Poker Sponsors want to take this time to thank those who played their events.  For without the local poker players who supported their events, they would not have been able to help their cause.

Although the 2009 poker year was extremely unusual, with many factors affecting the attendance, most charities were able to make their cause a good one.  2009 saw some new charities hold poker tournaments, some old who prospered and some new types of games.  The incident that hurt the game, although not forgotten, the players respect those charities who have taken the time to correct their game or took the efforts to make their game safe and fair.  For those couple of charities who choose to ignore the fact that their game had been tarnished, they continued to suffer.  All in all, we look forward to the 2010 charity poker year.  Many new events are in the planning stages.  The Civic Center has finally started talking about dates.  The usual charities have announced their schedule and if the Salisbury VFW's Holiday Christmas Party and Bounty Tournament was an indication of how the local poker players feel, 2010 should be a good year.

So from all of us at Delmarva Charity Poker.  We wish to thank those players who contributed to keep this website going.  As you know, access is free and we never charge a fee for the sponsors to place their events online with us.  Please take the time to remember the reason of the season, regardless of your beliefs.   So enjoy the Holidays, be safe and we will see you in 2010!
